"I want to live in a vibrant, healthy and safe community—and so do you.  As your city Supervisor, I pledge commitment to moving Carson City from a good town to a great town!"
Molly Walt, 2008
In 1994, Molly and husband Kyle moved to Carson City to pursue teaching positions. From 1994-2002, Molly taught at Eagle Valley Middle School, Carson Middle School and Carson High School. While teaching, Molly was very active with extracurricular activities. She coached intramurals, cross country, track, girl’s basketball, and volleyball. She taught middle school Student Leadership which gave her the opportunity to reach out to the community of Carson City with her students.
My family and I love Carson City. We are very active in our community, participating in groups like AYSO Soccer, Carson City Little League, Carson City Flag Football, Pinkerton Ballet Academy, Positive Energy, the Carson Tiger Sharks Swim Team, Silver State Gymnastics, Pinkerton Nutcracker, and the Nevada Day Parade. We enjoy going to the parks in Carson City, riding our bikes around our neighborhood and to the Farmers Market, and visiting the library. Carson City has a small town feel...
Carson City CAN become an even more desirable community for young professionals, the retirement community and everyone in between. How?
  • Energize and promote a vibrant community
  • Public Safety Initiatives
  • Promote fiscal responsibility

What’s your vision for Carson City? Together, as your city Supervisor we can move Carson City from a good town to a great town!
for Supervisor Ward 4
“…it would be wonderful to move the library downtown, increase entertainment and shopping opportunities and make it more family-friendly…there isn’t enough in Carson City for kids and families…they need a place to belong…bring the library closer to the Brewery Arts Center, the Children’s Museum, the shopping, the dining...it creates a critical mass for our kids… it can help fight our gang and drug problems…”
